Join us for a night of spoken word and unspoken awesomeness. If you would like to perform, please sign up at the following link or just show up! (Note that all open mic performers need a ticket for the show) Performers can share original work or cover their favorite poem. There is a 5 minute limit per open mic participant. Professional audience members are also highly encouraged. Bring an entourage, folks hungry to fill their minds with verbal art. Of course the verbal art can be supplemented with the imaginative all plant based pastries and extensive tea list from Zuzus! Email Michelle at director@glencoeyouthservices.org with any questions.

Madame Zuzu’s is a local plant-based teashop in Highland Park, Illinois, owned and operated by musician Billy Corgan, founder of the grammy-winning Smashing Pumpkins, and fashion designer Chloe Mendel. Madame Zuzu's combines insanely delicious plant-based foods, rare teas of the world, and an open source venue for the arts. Madam Zuzu's Website
