Purple Lip Project Ohio, Woman’s Life Chapters 813 & 820 present A Night of Hope, Life & Celebration fundraiser benefiting CHOICES for Victims of Domestic Violence in cooperation with Liv Out Loud Enterprises LLC, LeaderSpark, and independent Mary Kay consultant Kimberly D. Brown. This event will bring awareness to domestic violence in our community and celebrate the extraordinary accomplishments of survivors and advocates who are making our community, and the world, a better place.
Meet our Keynote Speaker
Diona Clark has been motivating and inspiring women to live life out loud and conquer their fears. Diona was given the name "Ms. Motivation" due to her intriguing way of captivating her audience given an electrifying experience that propels one to respond with action.
After graduating from college, Diona decided to move to Columbus, Ohio for a new job. It was during this time, Diona became involved in a relationship with a man she met through a relative. They dated for nine months before he started abusing her. After one year of the abuse and lies she decided to break off the relationship. A month after the breakup her ex-boyfriend showed up and shot her in the chest and the hand. He then left her in a pool of blood to die. While lying in the hospital, fighting for her life Diona made the decision to move back home to Dayton and change her life. It was during her recovery, she began reading self-help books and praying to God to help her overcome her low self-esteem.
Diona holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Howard University. She currently resides in Columbus, Ohio. She enjoys spending time with her family, staying physically fit and working in her church overseeing multiple ministries.
