Description
True Star Foundation presents to you, “A Night Among the Stars” a fundraiser reception to raise funds to support the foundation’s on-the-job training programs. This event will take place at Venue 1420, located 1420 South Michigan Avenue, Chicago, Illinois on Thursday, September 28th 6pm – 9pm.
True Star Foundation’s fundraiser event, “A Night Among the Stars” ask Chicago influencers to celebrate the success of the organization and the youth it serves who affectionately are called “stars”. This social gathering will bring together Chicago leaders and influencers to foster connections and build alliances.
“A Night Among the Stars” asks Chicago professionals to be part of growing the foundation so it can serve and provide on-the-job training for Chicago youth during the 2017-2018 school year. This event will be comprised of program stations showcasing the various programs and hearing directly from program participants the impact the foundation has had on them and the overall community.
The Foundation will also honor individuals who have helped to propel the foundation forward, including: Congresswoman Robin Kelly, executive vice president Flowers Communications Group Barbara Thompson, Lindblom principal Wayne Bevis, president Cole Consulting Ibi Cole, and True Star instructor and managing editor Marti Parham.
