The success of Divertimento Group's "Locals-First campaign" and "STOP Overtourism Movement" will depend on the passionate involvement of travel companies like La Dolce Via Tavel who want their businesses to be part of these important Corporate Social Responsibiliy (CSR) initiatives.

ABOUT OUR COMPANIES:

La Dolce Via Travel (LDVT), a +10-year-old “Italy-only” boutique travel company located in Hinsdale, Illinois, is Divertimento Group's (DG) first USA Travel Agency partner. Owner Rosanne Zammuto Cofoid is a highly specialized, advisor-designer of personalized Italian travel experiences. LDVT will have a leadership role in the DG's STOP Overtourism Movement and in the company's future network of U.S. travel professionals who want to promote Alternative Cultural Adventures.

Divertimento Group (DG) is a social impact-destination marketing firm. Owner Lesley Pritikin, a Chicago native living in Italy for over 30 years, launched her STOP Overtourism Movement and LOCALS-FIRST campaign after spending the last two years visiting small Italian towns with too few visitors – while popular hotspots close to them were “overtouristed." The company urges travel professionals and travelers to explore lesser-known, spectacular places and to consider off-season travel. DG’s member network includes residents who are the actual designers of cultural immersion experiences (Alternative Cultural Adventures). Resident input in how travel companies promote their territory is an industry first.
