Actions and Detail Panel
A musician, a VC, and a film producer walk into a bar…at SXSW!
Sat, March 11, 2017, 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM CST
This is not the beginning of a joke, but the beginning of a discussion on driving change across industries.
In a world captivated by the notion of innovation, what stands in the way of continuous innovation? How can start-ups go beyond their initial game changing idea? How can creatives remain unique? How can larger companies tap into the infectious creativity of smaller organizations? And how can technology (proven, new or disruptive) drive innovation in any sector?
Introduced by Gregory Hands, UK Minister of State of International Trade, the panel will include:
Gregory Kallenberg, Executive Director of the Louisiana Film Prize and Director/Producer (moderator)
Be Charlotte, Singer, Songwriter & Producer
Brad Rossacci, Director of Innovation, 900lbs of Creative
Carl Stjernfeldt, North America Venture Manager, Shell Technology Ventures
Lynn E. Buquo, NASA Prizes and Challenges Program Executive
This session will feature perspectives from a tech start-up, the film industry, entertainment, and a global energy company.
