Hello Pilates Friends!
As many, if not most, of you are aware the first ever Documentary on Pilates is currently being premiered at the PMA Conference in Florida. Mark Pedri's KickStarter backed film, A Movement of Movement, details some Pilates history, travels the globe interviewing Pilates Instructors from all walks of life, has some industry interviews from last year's PMA, and projects some future avenues Pilates might venture as seen by instructors and enthusiasts.
Joined by co-host Balanced Body, Evolved Body Studio is hosting a Sacramento premiere for Mark's film on Wednesday October 23rd at Hot Italian Restaurant in Midtown Sacramento (16th & Q Street). The evening will start around 6:30pm with light appetizers and pizzas served buffet style, (a full bar, and great wine list, are available at the venue), while the actual premiere starts at 7:15pm-7:30pm.
* The film is approximately 1 hour in length.
The evening is sure to be a fun, and community building, night that brings together the rich Pilates fraternity here in Sacramento. And as far as I've heard, we're one of the first areas to premiere the film outside the PMA!!
Space is limited, so if you're interested and committed to attending, please RSVP. The evening costs just $5/plus service charges to enjoy a great movie and a night with your friends. Because space is limited, for an additional $5 ($10/plus service charges total) we'll reserve a theatre seat for you. There will be plenty of standing room for all who RSVP.
