About this Event
There's no place like New Orleans to celebrate Mardi Gras. But since travel options are limited this year, plan on joining our celebration of the rich and varied foodways of the Crescent City. You'll pick up tips on techniques as our instructors show you how to make each dish taken from Treme: Stories & Recipes for the Heart of New Orleans by Lolis Eric Elie.
for ages 18 & up . Attendees 21 and older will enjoy a glass of wine paired with their meal.
Menu:
- Bell Pepper stuffed with Seafood & Ham
- Mustard Greens
- Creole Gumbo with Crab, Shrimp & Sausage
- Calas (Creole Rice Fritters) Dusted with Confectioner's Sugar
Safety & Precautions
- We ask that you return a signed copy of the waiver for each attendee via email prior to class.
- Please wear a mask while in the Cooking Schools. Masks can be removed to enjoy samples provided or the food that you have prepared.
- Our Partners will maintain a 6-foot distance from attendees while in the Cooking Schools. We ask that you maintain a 6-foot distance from other attendees during the class.
- Classes are limited to a maximum of two hours. For that reason, we ask that all attendees arrive at least 5 minutes prior to the confirmed time of the class.
