Join us at The Center to explore the newest rotation of the The Morehouse College, Martin Luther King Collection: King and Love.
From 2 PM to 3 PM you can take your time exploring the personal papers and items of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. This exhibit examines Dr. King’s works as well as his philosophies and influences on love.
Then at 3 PM, participate in a discussion lead by Dr. Vicki Crawford of Morehouse College on how unconditional love can serve as a catalyst for the establishment of a “Beloved Community” in today’s time. We will hear from three experts in their fields, to discuss best ways to honor our differences in race, class, gender, sexual orientation and religious beliefs.
