Living Mosaic is a two day event at the Riverdale Gallery that includes an art exhibition, family-friendly activities, live performances, and engaging discussions about the celebration of Canada 150 and Toronto’s cultural heritage. The exhibition aims to pay tribute to the varying stories of origin that lend vibrancy into our collective society, specifically highlighting Aboriginal and immigrant histories in Canada. Featuring the work of contemporary emerging artists, Living Mosaic representing a broad spectrum of experience and historical perspectives that together acknowledge the past, celebrate the present, and look toward building a bright future. Visitors can also look forward to learning about local businesses and service providers that are unique to the Gerrard Street East neighbourhood.
