The Last Bookstore is excited to host children's book author, Ashley Mills Monaghan as she presents her 4 time award winning book A Little Goes a Long Way! Join us September 8 for a special children's story time event and performance by award winning author and musician, Ashley Mills Monaghan. Special guest appearance by illustrator Vivian Nguyen!! Free giveaways and activities. You will not want to miss this!


Join Fin and his little dog, Sausages, as he learns to use only what he needs while he helps with the chores around the house. This simple little story, aimed at the 2-8 year old child, presents a bigger message about conservation and mindfulness.


Ashley Mills Monaghan has a BFA from Chapman University and a postgraduate degree from SNMCI - Dublin, Ireland in early childhood education. She has traveled across the country and abroad for readings and appearances for her award 4 time winning book, A Little Goes a Long Way, and has also been invited to speak for various conferences and workshops around the Los Angeles area. Ashley has been invited to present on the storyteller stage several times at the OC Book Festival and has been featured at Pretend City Children's Museum Literacy month for the past 3 years. She enjoys scoring films and writing music on the side while raising her 2 young boys. Her second book is due out this summer!

Vivian Nguyen is an illustrator and toy designer currently residing in Los Angeles. More of her personal work can be found on her blog vivdesigns.blogspot.com.
