Event description

Description

Transport yourself to a French vineyard with an afternoon of Champagne, snacks, and a literary dégustation with Ann Mah, author of The Lost Vintage, and Christian Holthausen of AR Lenoble.

In 2015, food and travel writer Ann Mah visited the Champagne house, AR Lenoble, and volunteered at les vendanges, the annual grape harvest. Her experiences at this independent, family-owned vineyard inspired her new novel. The Lost Vintage is a tale about an ancestral vineyard, a lost diary, an unknown relative, and a family secret kept since World War II.

Christian Holthausen is the export sales and international communications director of AR Lenoble. A wine and spirits expert, he contributes regularly to The Guardian, Decanter, and Meininger's Wine Business International.

Please join us to celebrate both Ann's new book, and also the AR Lenoble Intense "mag 14" and AR Lenoble Grand Cru Blanc de Blancs Chouilly "mag 14," two new releases from AR Lenoble, one of the last 100% family-owned, 100% independent houses left in Champagne.

Books and Champagne will be available for sale at the event. There is a €10 fee, payable at the door, which can be applied either to a copy of The Lost Vintage or a bottle from AR Lenoble.
