A Library of Libations: Winter Cocktails of the Farmers Market
An Evening of Stirred Words and Liquid Literature
Book the date! This winter, CUESA and the San Francisco chapter of the United States Bartenders Guild are writing a new installment in their popular Cocktails of the Farmers Market series, in collaboration with Friends of the San Francisco Public Library. Cozy up in the Ferry Building to sip on literary-inspired libations from the Bay’s best bartenders and devour bookish bites from some of the city’s hottest chefs. From A Tale of Two Citruses to Infinite Zest, the novel use of winter produce will make for a page-turning celebration of books, booze, and the bounty of the winter farmers market.
Guests receive three full-sized signature cocktails featuring Jack Daniel’s, Zucca, and Ron, along with unlimited sample-size drinks for this happy hour event in the gorgeous Ferry Building Grand Hall. Notable restaurants offer small bites, and the trio of organizations hosting the night will provide the epic games and prizes. It’s an evening that’s sure to be one for the books.
All proceeds from the evening support CUESA’s sustainable agriculture educational initiatives and the USBG’s professional development programs.
