A Librarian’s World – Hsu Yun Tsiao: The Man and His Collection

Ever wondered what librarians do? In this series of monthly talks, find out what makes our librarians tick as they share highlights of their work from the collections of the National Library.

Join Senior Librarian Seow Peck Ngiam as she uncovers the literary legacy of the late Professor Hsu Yun Tsiao (1905-1981), including manuscripts such as History of Pattani (北大年史) and History of Malaya (马来亚史 ), from the National Library’s Southeast Asia collection.

Seow Peck Ngiam is a Senior Librarian at the National Library. She is part of the Singapore and Southeast Asia team and handles the collection development and management of Chinese materials, which includes the Donors’ collection. Her other responsibilities include research and providing reference advisory services.
