About:

Ladies Adios is calling out all artists and community activists from the New York City area to express themselves through music and dance at A Jam Called Tribe VOL. 3 Summer of 79’ Showcasing the best of the 70s and 80s vibes. This event is intended to bring people together from the Street Dance and the Hip Hop community in the spirit of contribution, awareness, and peace. Event organizers will ensure a safe and reliable environment for dancers and spectators to play a role in community. Event participants will be entertained by the artistic expressions of dance, visual arts, and music. At the event, participants have the opportunity to come dressed in 70-80’s era outfits, play games, compete for best dressed, and compete in open styles dance battle, Cypher empress and emperor.

Our theme for this event is A Jam Called Tribe, Volume 2. This will be our third annual fundraiser event bringing social awareness. As street dancers, we understand the competitive nature of this dance and want to create a positive environment for street dancers to get together and express themselves in addition to contributing to the community. At this event we will be raising funds for a charitable cause. We believe that we can create a space for dancers to motivate one another, develop together, and contribute to human rights, thus spreading this dance culture even further with peace, contribution, awareness and understanding.
