30 YEARS AFTER is honored to welcome Tony Mendez, author of "Argo" and inspiration for the 2012 Oscar-winning film by Ben Affleck, to the Los Angeles Jewish community for an inspiring evening of reflections and remarks, moderated by Jonna Mendez, former Chief-of-Disguise, CIA.

In January 1980, former CIA technical operations officer Antonio Mendez carried a life-or-death covert operation to rescue six American diplomats trapped in the Iran in the dramatic wake of the Iran Hostage Crisis. This is the true story of his incredible heroism and service.
