Speaker: Meg Garabrant
Meg Garabrant spent eleven years at a large regional MLS and was a pioneer in the industry for the adoption of MLS green fields and data auto-population. She was a regular speaker at industry events and helped create resources for the MLS industry about adopting green data fields and the importance of this information as part of the real estate transaction process. At Earth Advantage, Meg heads up the Green Building Registry (GBR). She regularly engages program administrators to source green verification and power production data; building ratings/certifications and renewable energy data to include in GBR. Utilizing a web API, this data is then available in the Real Estate Standards Organization (RESO) data format for MLSs and real estate data consumers to connect with helping to ensure a comprehensive, standardized, and consistent set of data is included in real estate listings.
