Please join us for a conversation on race in Minnesota:

Thursday, January 26, 7:00-9:00 p.m.

Editor of the Minnesota Historical Society Press book, A Good Time for the Truth: Race in Minnesota, teacher, writer and poet Sun Yung Shin will share her perspectives on the book, as well as the present and ongoing racial struggles in our community.

Shin has also written a book of prose Unbearable Splendor, two books of poetry Rough, and Savage and Skirt Full of Black, served as a co-editor of Outsiders Within: Writing on Transracial Adoption, and authored the children's book, Cooper's Lesson.

Space is limited. Registration required.
