Description

Join us for our 5th annual Godly Woman Women's Conference. Our theme this year is "Made In His Image". Genesis 1:27 says, "So God created human beings in his own image. In the image of God he created them; male and female he created them." So many of us have learned to live with insecurities and feelings of unworthiness. We don't think we are good enough, smart enought, pretty enough. We tell ourselves we will never measure up or we are too messed up to be worth anything. It's time we look at the word of God to see who are Father says we are and start living with confidence of who we are in Him. We are so excited to welcome back author and speaker Marian Jordan Ellis. Marian's powerful testimony of coming to brokenness and emptiness and her dynamic account of the gentle mercy and forceful grace of Christ who called her into his arms permeate all of her writings and speaking engagements. Whole in Christ and ready to tell any ear that will listen. She is a dynamic speaker that leaves indelible marks on her audience... painful rib cages from laughter, and mind-searing impressions of being so-dead-on to one’s private dilemmas. Marian has the gift of applying sound Biblical truth to the tender wounds of bleeding hearts.

***We will offer breakout sessions at 3 different times during the weekend. You will choose which ones you will want to attend when you register. Please note that some are offered twice. Here are the descriptions...

The Road To Forgiveness

Forgiveness can be a very difficult thing to extend. Sometimes the thought of forgiving can be uncomfortable and doing it can take work on our part. As daunting as it may feel, sweet sisters in Christ, we are called to forgive. If you are struggling to offer grace and mercy to someone, or even yourself, I invite you to join me as we discuss what forgiveness looks like, why it's important to choose forgiveness and the beauty that can come from the ashes. -Shelby Hill

Let's search scripture and see just exactly how to find peace in chaos!-Amber Dickey

“Take care and be on your guard against covetousness, for one’s life does not consist in the abun

posseNo one wants to talk about covetousness, maybe because they don’t understand it or how it can overwhelm you with all types of emotions. It comes in all shapes and sizes and we as humans have these desires and feelings on a daily basis. The struggle can be real and often covetousness leads to feelings of unworthiness, depression and anger but the most controversial emotion is feeling like we deserve. -Gigi Manning

Pride Vs. Humility

It's been said that pride is the root of all evil. Pride will make you say and do things you shouldn't. Pride is self-seeking, it is judgmental. Pride is everything opposite of what we as Christians should be striving for. The Word of God tells us that God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble. Join me as we dive into this topic and take a closer look at what it means to humble ourselves and submit to the Lord so we can experience what it means to live in God's grace. -Lacey Anderson

Drawing Closer to God: A Guided Prayer Experience -Sarah Keeling

God Wants Me To Do WHAT?

Getting past our fear and insecurities to step out and obey what God is asking us. -Jennifer Adams

How To Live With Depression and Anxiety While Still Being Who God Called You To Be. -Tara Theis-Albergaria

Standing On The Promises

A mountain is a metaphor for something too big to move on our own. God's word says if we have the faith of a mustard seed, we can say to a mountain "move" and it will move (Matthew 17:20). Nothing is impossible if we have faith in the "what if's" of life. Through God's word we will learn how to move mountains during our journey and seasons of life. -Stephanie Brown
