On October 25, 2010, Heather (Kuzdas) Sutton was diagnosed with Myelodysplastic Syndrome (MDS), which is a cancer that affects the bone marrow and blood. Heather is a young wife and mother of three who has spent her life in the service of others (including an 18 month mission to serve the people of Argentina).
Heather's treatment for MDS will include a rigorous chemotherapy regimen followed by a bone marrow transplant.
This concert is to benefit Heather and her family. Out of pocket expenses already exceed $1200 a week and the transplant will cost the family over $200K after insurance. Any and all proceeds (100%) will go to Heather and her family to help to defray these costs. We ask you to be generous!!
The concert is being held at Highland High School so that many HHS alumni can participate and showcase the talent that this amazing school has helped to nurture. Highland artists such as Jordan Bluth, Kenneth Kuzdas, the Highland High Starlight Serenade, Jill (Lesueur)Chipman , Carrie (Lesueur)Thompson, and other local talent including Michelle Baer, Laura Safsten, and Three3U will share their talents with us to benefit Heather and to make this a most memorable evening for all who attend.
Join us on February 26th at 7pm to share the Gift of Love, and the Gift of Life.
