Description

UNA-UK, theWestMUN Society UWSU and the Department of Politics and International Relations are delighted to be hosting Helen Clark, former Prime Minister of New Zealand and former head of the United Nations Development Programme at a film screening of My Year With Helen. A film directed by Gaylene Preston.

The screening will be followed by a Q&A session with Helen Clark and award-winning Director, Gaylene Preston. This session will be chaired by Lord Wood of Anfield (Chairman at UNA-UK).

In this documentary, Gaylene Preston’s cameras follow Helen Clark campaigning for UN Secretary-General while also carrying out her work as Administrator of UNDP, filming Clark in Botswana, Britain, Spain and Ukraine as well as the UN’s New York headquarters.

This event will take place at 18:00 and will finish at 20:30. Doors will open at 17:30.

Please note, this is a ticketed event. The price of your ticket helps to support UNA-UK’s charitable work. Tickets are allocated on a first-come first-served basis.
