A Father’s Perspective: A Panel Discussion on Autism
Event Information
Description
To celebrate Social Work Month, CARD invites you to join us as we listen and learn from fathers in our community who have been leaders, advocates, and champions for their children with autism. The panel discussion will focus on how autism has shaped their lives, the work that they do, and their ideas of what a father is. We will also explore how to support each other and ourselves through self-care.
Panel members: James Winston, Malcolm Day, and Gayland Carlisle – Moderator Elie Sollins, LCSW-C
Light refreshments will be provided. Space is limited. The event is free but registration is required. A waitlist will form for additional inquiries. The event is open to parents, family members, and providers, and fathers are encouraged to attend. Childcare is not provided.
