A Fair Cop? Public Histories of Policing
Join us for discussion on how museums interpret and interact with collections of police and prison heritage. What constitutes this type of collection? How are they understood and interpreted? What interactive and engagement strategies can we use to explore these sometimes difficult themes?
The morning will feature 3 x PhD students sharing their work on research into museum displays, collections and engagement. The afternoon will feature a workshop session looking at different engagement strategies that can be employed in exploring police and prison collections.
