Synopsis: A Devastating Impact is about "Freda" a 19 year old college student, a virgin that never did any drugs and never had a blood transfusion. So how in the WORLD did Freda become HIV POSITIVE????
The purpose of this production is to build awareness and promote testing for HIV/AIDS in the South Florida area which is particularly affected by rampant increases of new cases. The production will increase the awareness of the spread of HIV/AIDS specifically in the tri county area as well as promote prevention, testing and treatment. This event is being brought to you by The Theatre of Creative Consciousness of the Arts and Co-Sponsored by The Friends of the African American Research Library and Cultural Center.

The Theatre of Creative Consciousness of the Arts, Inc.
The Theatre Of Creative Consciousness of the Arts, Inc (TCCA) was founded in 1980 by Islah Abdul Aziz and has been located in the City of Deerfield Beach since 2002. TCCA is a 501(c)(3) organization incorporated in the State of Florida. The theatre company has produced numerous theatrical productions and community events to combact negative influences that affect our communities such as drugs, violence, gun control, abprtion, bullying and currently HIV/AIDS.
