A Decolonial Creative Reset Workshop: I AM EXACTLY WHERE I AM MEANT TO BE
Overview
I AM EXACTLY WHERE I AM MEANT TO BE: THE CREATIVE -DECOLONIAL RESET FOR WOMEN TO RELEASE SHAME, PRESSURE AND COMPARISON BEFORE 2026
This workshop is for women who have experienced repeated cycles of sadness, disappointment, and feeling like they’re “behind.”
It is rooted in:
Neuroplasticity: reshaping the brain’s internal narratives
Creative ritual: collage, drawing, intention-making
Somatic grounding: calming the body and reducing overwhelm
Ancestral re-authoring: reconnecting to a deeper internal timeline Decolonising self-concept: releasing societal pressures that were never yours

What Participants will do:
1. Name & Externalise the Old Stories
We will bring forward the narratives that created pressure, fear, comparison, or shame in 2025 and previous years.
Using collage and drawing, we will externalise these stories, moving them out of the body and onto paper, where they lose emotional power.
This is where neuroplastic change begins:
interrupting old neural pathways.
2. Rewrite the Self-Concept
Next, we begin creating new neural pathways through:
• future-self scripting
• intentional storytelling
• language reframing
Together, we will design a new internal story — one aligned with the energy needed for 2026: clarity, confidence, creativity, and emotional readiness.
Outcome: By the end of the workshop, participants leave with increased clarity, self worth and confidence about who they are and where they can go due to a healthier internal narratives.
