Description

Are you feeling the need to recharge, reset, and refresh? Are you finding time to continue your formal meditation practice, or have you put it on hold with the intention of resuming later? Perhaps you need guidance or a community with whom you can sit and refresh, getting back on the self-care track by resetting your mind, body and heart?

If you answered yes to any of the questions above, this day of meditations is just what you need, meeting yourself right where you are. A Day to Reset is a 5 hour experience of various mindfulness meditations, focusing on resetting, refreshing, and refueling your well-being.

Participants will experience a variety of mindful meditations that speak to self-compassion, stress-reduction, gratitude, and eating and living mindfully. These meditations will bring you back to your senses, to your heart and to yourself. Increase your mind-body interconnectedness and present moment awareness, while lessening your reactivity. The meditations are held in companionable silence, with an inquiry period at the end. Participants will be asked to check their cell phones at the door.

Join me in this unique 1-day only retreat, at the San Diego Center for Well-being. This reset is for meditators who have completed one of my classes/workshops, or a mindfulness course in general.

Fall is a wonderful time to slow down, increase your present moment awareness, and recharge your spirit. Join me and a great community of meditators on this day to continue the investment in your well-being and self-care.

Time: 9a-2p (please bring your own lunch. A small fridge is available to storing lunches.)

Cost: $149

Particpants are asked to bring a yoga mat for body scan meditations, as the Center may not have as many as we need.

**You must be familiar with mindfulness meditation to get the most out of this day of reset. Completion or current registration in one of the following courses is required: Mindfulness Meditation 101, Mindful Self-Compassion, Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction, Eating and Living Mindfully, or Mindful Meditations with Merry.
