Description

This one day retreat is an opportunity for you to press pause and reconnect.

Most of us live very busy lives and often don't prioritise time for ourselves to re-balance and recharge. This one day mindfulness retreat offers you the time and space to do just that.

It is open to people who are new to mindfulness, people who have some experience of mindfulness but don't find much time to practice as well as people who have a regular practice and feel they'd like to give themselves permission to focus on their practice for a day.

Our day will start at 10am with introductions and an overview of the day. We will then move into meditation practices including Settling the Mind, Body Scan and Memories of Kindness. There will be breaks for tea and coffee (which are provided) and time for lunch (which you can bring with you). We will do some gentle mindful movement outdoors (weather permitting) and continue with more sitting meditations in the afternoon. Our day will finish at 4pm.

The benefits people experience from coming on a retreat like this is a sense of calm and groundedness. There is often a feeling of relaxation or renewed energy.

You will leave the day with 2 guided practices which you can use to continue your mindfulness practice after the retreat day.
