A Day in the Life Of...Field Trip Days (9th-12th Grade)
A Day in the Life Of...Field Trip Days
Through this free event, A Day in the Life Of...Field Trip Days welcomes students grades 9-12 to ASU's Polytechnic Campus to learn about the exciting research taking place by students and faculty in the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering. Each date's schedule may vary. Students will take part in tours of various engineering labs, learn about the engineering design process through hands-on STEM activities, eat lunch on campus, and get to experience a day in the life of an engineering college student!
Friday, Sept. 30, 2016 - General Engineering
Friday, Oct. 28, 2016 - Focused Event: Graphic Information Technology
Friday, Feb. 10, 2017 - Focused Event: Human Systems Engineering
Friday, April 7, 2017 - Focused Event: TBD
Please note: the above dates are designed for students in grades 9-12 during the 2016-2017 school year. If you are interested in reserving space for students in grades 3-5 or 6-8, please visit http://outreach.engineering.asu.edu/events/field-trip-days/ for the appropriate event. Activities and tours are meant to be developmentally appropriate for their specific grade bands. If you have questions, please contact email@example.com.
Our preferred ratio of adults to students is 10 students per 1 adult. If you have fewer students than that, you must have at least 5 students for every 1 adult attending. In other words, please do not reserve a space for yourself and 1 student only. If you are a homeschool family, we welcome you to our field trip dates but we encourage you to coordinate a trip with other families to maintain a higher number of students in your groups and fewer adults. Wrangle the troops and make your reservations accordingly!
