Ever wondered about GP-land but don't really know what it's about? What does a GP actually do on a day to day basis? Is it really just coughs and colds, scripts and flick, or tears and smears? Or is there more to it...
This event, 'A Day in the Life of a GP' will answer these questions and explore more about General Practice and what a career in this profession could look like. Hear from four GPs and GP registrars with a variety of interests working in different settings across South Australia. Through a facilitated panel discussion we will explore why they each chose GP as their specialty, what they like, dislike and wish they could change, and what a typical day (if there is such a thing) looks like for each of them.
Event is hosted by the Future General Practitioner (FGP) Network and supported by the RACGP and the University of Adelaide.
WHEN: Wednesday 26th April. Light refreshments will be served from 6:15pm with speakers starting at 7pm
WHERE: Joe Verco Lecture Theatre, Adelaide Health and Medical Sciences Building, North Terrace
