Description

The Native American Development Center (NADC) welcomes the public to join us on a day filled with education and experiences with North Dakota's rich tribal cultural heritages.

This event presents itself as a lead into a series of educational opportunities for the community to learn more about the Native American adults and families social emotional and cultural needs that we've been serving within the Bismarck metro area headquartered since August 2014. In May 2016, NADC launched a new support group called, "Restoring the Circle" Parent & Family Support Group and has been held every Tuesday from 6:30 p.m. 8:30 p.m. In December 2016, NADC launched a second new support group called, "Restoring the Circle" Addiction Recovery Support Group and has been held every Wednesday from 6:30 p.m. 8:30 p.m.

The NADC is a key stakeholder for Native American issues and works in collaboration with multiple state agencies and both, state and regional coalitions, including the Bismarck Mayor’s new Gold Star Task Force. The combination of these roles are to prevent substance and alcohol misuse, suicide, homelessness, and prison and jail recidivism and to reform the foster care system, behavioral health and criminal justice. The NADC primary service sought by the state, region and local consortium and are mentoring services for adults and families. More is in progress and will be announced....stay up-to-date by following our Facebook page!
