Please join us for lunch and a conversation with state Reps. Dustin Burrows and Drew Darby, moderated by Texas Tribune co-founder and CEO Evan Smith.
Burrows, R-Lubbock, has represented House District 83 since 2015. He serves on the House County Affairs and International Trade & Intergovernmental Affairs committees. Burrows currently practices at the law firm of McClesky, Harriger, Brazill & Graff and primarily focuses on commercial litigation and representing agricultural producers in West Texas.
Darby, R-San Angelo, has represented House District 72 since 2007. He serves as chairman of the House Energy Resources Committee and is a member of the Ways and Means Committee. Darby is also the owner of Surety Title, a title and escrow services company, and is of counsel to the energy and real estate practice group at the Jackson Walker law firm.
This event will be held in the Rapid Response Room, located in the West Texas Training Center on the Howard College campus in San Angelo (map). The event is free and open to the public and includes a light lunch. Visitor parking is available in the parking lots surrounding the building.
