Please join us for lunch and a conversation with state Reps. César Blanco and Brooks Landgraf, moderated by Texas Tribune co-founder and CEO Evan Smith.
Blanco, D-El Paso, has represented House District 76 since 2015. He serves as vice chairman of the House Defense & Veterans' Affairs Committee and sits on the Land & Resource Management Committee. Additonally, he serves on the Transportation Policy Board of the El Paso Metropolitan Planning Organization and is a member of the American Legion. Previously, Blanco served as a military intelligence analyst in the U.S. Navy.
Landgraf, R-Odessa, has represented House District 81 since 2015. He serves on the House Energy Resources, Environmental Regulations and Local & Consent Calendars committees. Previously, Landgraf worked as an aide to U.S. Rep. Joe Barton and represented energy producers and local businesses while working at the Shafer, Davis, O’Leary & Stoker law firm.
This event will be held in the Zant Community Room, located on the second floor of the Saulsbury Campus Center (SCC) on the Odessa College campus (campus map). Attendees should enter the campus at the intersection of Robertson St. and W. University Blvd. Parking will be available in the North Lot, located on both sides of the campus entrance in front of the Saulsbury Campus Center. The event is free and open to the public and includes a light lunch.
