About this event

Join us in the Crain’s ‘Living Room’ for an intimate breakfast discussion with Mary Kramer on

how familiar and new media brands can succeed in today’s publication industry. Packed with

information that can benefit professionals and businesses of all sizes, Mary will share her

insights and field questions on topics such as:

● The secret sauce for developing new brands that click with the audience

● How new brands address today’s hot markets such as the growing cannabis industry,

advanced molecular research, and the business of sports and its effect on our culture

● Media trends that resonate with audiences and include national case studies/success

● The future of niche media

● Crain’s recent purchase of the Grand Rapids Business Journal

There’s probably a Crain niche that is of keen interest for you, your company, or your clients.

The key to success is leveraging specific tools to ensure that content – from newsrooms and

from clients – relates to what Audiences -- readers and listeners -- need and want.

Learn more when WJR’s Marie Osborne and Crain Communications’ Mary Kramer explore the

latest from Crain in a breakfast session on Thursday, October 6 at 8am in the ‘Living Room’ at

Crain Communications’ HQ. The session will be presented live and virtually. Free parking.

The session is presented live and virtual.
