The event will celebrate Dr. Kremer’s experimental development approach and will focus on the transformative effect of innovation on USAID policies and programming.
Dr. Michael Kremer is the Gates Professor of Developing Societies in the Department of Economics at Harvard University, a Senior Fellow at the Brookings Institution, and Co-founder and Scientific Director of USAID’s Development Innovation Ventures (DIV), which tests and scales creative solutions to development challenges. In December 2019, Dr. Kremer was the co-recipient of the 2019 Sveriges Riksbank Prize in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred Nobel.
