Kopernik Observatory & Science Center (KOSC), WSKG Public Media, and Southern Tier East Regional Planning, is sponsoring a one day conference for municipal officials of the Southern Tier of NY, and the Northern Tier of PA. This important conference is to help our municipal officials become more knowledgeable about our changing climate with its extreme weather consequences (example flooding). It will help them adapt their communities to these anticipated consequences. The conference will be on Friday, September 13th, 9:00AM to 5:00PM at KOSC. Advance registration fee is $25. Day of conference fee is $30.
