The Killian Hill Christian School stage will come to life on December 2nd and 3rd as Ebenezer Scrooge (played by Mr. Dan Totten), Jacob Marley and Tiny Tim share the sentimental story of Christmases past, present and future in Charles Dickens’ popular A Christmas Carol.
In this holiday classic, Scrooge is visited by the spirit of his former partner, the Ghost of Christmas Present, and The Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come. Audiences will be entertained by talented Killian Hill high school actors dressed in classic period costumes and will see the magic of the sets reflecting 19th century England.
“Mr. Dan Totten has enriched the lives of hundreds of students through his twenty-one year tenure as a highly esteemed and beloved high school English teacher here at Killian Hill. Both former and current students will be enthralled with his portrayal of Ebenezer Scrooge,” says director Mrs. Terry Fulbright. “I’ve wanted to feature Mr. Totten in a play for years, and The Christmas Carol seemed the perfect setting to do so.”
The three performances will run Friday, December 2nd at 7:00 PM and Saturday, December 3rd at 1:00 PM and 6:00 PM. Tickets are available through the high school office or online through the school’s website for $5.00 per person plus a small service charge. Alumni are free but must have ticket available through the high school office only. A light dessert will be available at intermission.
