A Charmed Affair

In celebration of all women, we invite you to participate and make a difference in the lives of those affected by cancer.

Every ticket sold will give one patient, caregiver or family member an opportunity to participate in a day-long retreat. Retreats are relaxing and restorative in nature, offered at no cost, and designed to take the participants mind off everyday life with cancer.

This fun filled girls’ day out will be an adventure and is sure to be filled with love and laughter. The excitement will begin at 9:30am at Xenia Greek Kouzina. Teams of four will be given a list of photo fun activities to complete. Each item on the list will be assigned points. Teams can pick and choose which activities they would like to complete with the goal of collecting the most points. The team who returns to Xenia with the most points will win a prize. Once back at Xenia, the fun will continue with costume contests, raffles, a silent auction, door prizes and maybe even a little dancing. A delicious brunch buffet will be served along with non-alcoholic beverages, beer, wine, champagne & a specialty cocktail.

Respite Retreats is a 501(c)3 organization providing retreats of respite to cancer patients, their caregivers and family members. We understand that a cancer diagnosis affects the entire family, not just the one diagnosed. We feel that it is essential for all involved to take a break from the difficult unpleasantries a cancer diagnosis brings.

Our retreats are uplifting and therapeutic and include individual and group activities designed to take the participants mind of of everyday life with cancer.
