Description

The Field of Firsts Foundation of the College Park Aviation Museum and The Black Pilots of America (BPA)-Herbert Jones, Jr. Chapter invite you to join us for A Celebration of Our Aviation History on Saturday, June 24, 2017. This luncheon event is a fundraiser with all proceeds benefiting both the BPA’s Youth Programs and the Field of Firsts Foundation.

This wonderful, informative event will feature a private, exclusive VIP tour of the College Park Aviation Museum, followed by a delicious buffet luncheon. The program will feature guest speaker Army Captain Dina Elosiebo ( the first African-American female pilot in the DC National Guard), followed by the private screening of the pending documentary highlighting the 75 year aviation career of local aviation pioneer Herbert H. Jones, Jr. produced by Academy Award nominated director Thavi Phrasavath.

For those interested in the history of aviation and a continuation of the legacy of aviation in the area, we encourage you to come and enjoy this wonderful event.
