Description

A CELEBRATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS

Commemorating this day in 1948 when the Universal Declaration of Human Rights was adopted by the United Nations General Assembly.

The day will include an artist-led tour of the Healing Waters Exhibition, guest speakers from the Seminole Tribe of Florida and the Miccosukee Tribe of Florida as well as a very special viewing of the documentary titled, “Awake, a Dream from Standing Rock” (directed by Josh Fox, James Spione, Myron Dewey).

Presented by JohnBob Carlos. JohnBob Carlos is a native Floridian and photographer capturing images of Florida’s wildlife, landscapes, cultures, and waterways. It is his way of creating a voice for Florida’s nature and preserving Florida’s culture. Canvasing the depth of Florida’s natural terrain, he has been able to capture and document the beauty of such landscapes in a compelling and visually stunning format.
