On January 18, 2021 at 3:45 p.m. EST the Madam Walker Legacy Center and Indiana University will present "A Call to Action: Then and Now," a social justice virtual program with two of this nation's most prolific civil rights activists. Join us! Hear Angela Davis and Alicia Garza discuss activism "then" and "now" for civil rights, social justice, inclusion, and equality, offering pathways to build a world more reflective of Dr. King's dream.

Immediately following the keynote session we will hold an “After Chat” hosted by Karen Vaughn of Radio One Indianapolis.
This chat will be a community conversation with local leaders who will highlight key lessons learned and further discuss where we go from here as a community regarding social justice and racial equity.
