Description

An Evening with Norm Lewis

ABOUT THIS CONCERT
Baritone Norm Lewis brings a glorious voice, ineffable charm and warmth to the Coolidge for an intimate cabaret concert of great show music. Hailed as “one of the most reliably impressive voices on Broadway,” (New York Times) Lewis is one of the music theater world’s most sought-after leading men. His storied career has been filled with memorable performances of major roles, on Broadway and off: John in Miss Saigon, the title role in Sweeney Todd, Joe in the New York Philharmonic’s Show Boat and Porgy in Porgy and Bess. He was the first African-American artist to appear as the Phantom in The Phantom of the Opera. Lewis fans will also know his work as an actor in television hits like The Blacklist, Blue Bloods, and as Senator Ed Davis in Scandal.

Additional Ticketing Information

Reserved seats not claimed by five minutes before the scheduled start of the event will be distributed to waiting RUSH patrons. For more information about RUSH please visit www.loc.gov/concerts/tickets.html

For patrons unable to obtain a reservation, we strongly encourage attendance anyway—while there is no guarantee of seating due to the intimate size of some spaces, patrons are almost always accommodated, especially if they collect a RUSH Space Available pass two hours in advance of the show's start time. In over 99% of cases, all guests are able to be seated, and some seats are ALWAYS available for sold-out performances due to returns and no-shows.

Please request ADA accommodations at least five business days in advance by contacting (202) 707-6362 or ada@loc.gov.
