Leadership Webinar Series:Women, Money, and Opportunity

Webinar Session One: A Breadwinner Is?

Women are increasingly more highly educated and starting businesses at twice the rate of men. So if you are not the breadwinner now, it is likely that you will be at some point in the future. Currently approx. 20% of women in the UK and 40% in the US are the breadwinner. Being the main earner is still a taboo subject for women. This means that women face the challenges of being a breadwinner in silence, such as: guilt, managing money, society’s assumptions, family life, career and life balance. Whenever women make progress there is often a backlash, so it essential that women invest and empower themselves in order to be more comfortable in their role, and take on the world, no matter the context.
