Description

For Us By Us: An insider’s look on investing in issues affecting Black communities

Through the unique opportunity to host The Soul of Philanthropy (TSOP), a multimedia contemporary exhibit that seeks to present the stories of an unsung legacy of Black philanthropists, we celebrate Black Philanthropy Month! The road leading to TSOP ATL will be paved by several community engagements designed to educate and amplify this unknown culture of generosity in the black community, beginning with the sixth annual global celebration of African-descent giving on August 22nd from 6:30 – 8:30 pm with For Us By Us: An Insider’s Look on Investing in Issues Affecting Black Communities at the Auburn Avenue Research Library on African American Culture and History.

Join us and some of the most reuptable philanthropy and fund development professionals in the city to discuss and dispell the myths of black giving!

Our distinguished panel includes:

Georgia Institute of Technology
