WHAT: Christmas Food Baskets & Coat DriveWHEN: Saturday, December 22, 2012 12p-4p

WHERE: Suitland Community Center Regency Lane Forrestville, MD (Multi-purpose Room)

WHY: To provide those families in need with warm coats, holiday food baskets, love & positivity

HOW: Team up with affiliates & volunteers to execute collection of donations, identify families in need, box decoration, creation of handmade cards/vision boards and delivery of boxes. Sponsors will also be pulled in to assist with the purchase of food items, small toys, books & school supplies.

DONATIONS NEEDED: children coats, frozen whole turkey/chicken/ham, canned vegetables & fruit, non-perishable food items, cake, school supplies, shoeboxes, small toys, gift cards

FAMILIES: 10 families have been secured for food baskets. Families for coat drive will be identified thru the school system & community center
