Description
The events of 9/11 still linger not only for those responders who worked rescue and cleanup at Ground Zero, but also for those who lived, worked or went to school in the area in the months after the attacks. Thousands have been stricken with cancers and serious respiratory illness. The James Zadroga 9/11 Health and Compensation Act established two programs to help those who are affected: the World Trade Center Health Program and the Sept. 11 Victim Compensation Fund.
Learn if you’re eligible, and how to apply, to either of the programs at this Town Hall with special guests Rupa Bhattacharyya, the Special Master of the Victim Compensation Fund, and Dr. Joan Reibman, Medical Director of the WTC Health Program’s Survivor Program. Wednesday, Co-hosted with 9/11 Environmental Action on Dec. 6, 2017, from 6:30 to 8:00 pm, 1 Centre St., 19th Floor South.
