SPEAKER BIO

Jen Keeling
Director of Ecosystem Advancement
LRNG

Jen serves as LRNG’s Director of Ecosystem Advancement. LRNG redesigns learning for the 21st century so that all youth have an opportunity to succeed. In this role, she leads the implementation team, which supports LRNG’s growing network of cities as they develop their local connected learning strategy, create local learning content, launch the LRNG platform, and implement LRNG across their local ecosystem of organizations.

Prior to LRNG, Jen was the founding Director of Thrive Chicago, which is a collective impact initiative that seeks to improve education and employment outcomes for Chicago’s youth by aligning efforts from cradle to career. In that role, she led all strategic and operational aspects of the initiative. Previously, Jen served as the Director of Policy for the Chicago Jobs Council, a policy and advocacy organization focused on workforce development for people living in poverty. She also worked as an employment specialist at a training program for homeless and formerly homeless women in New York City.

She received a Bachelor’s degree from Middlebury College and a Master of Arts from the University of Chicago, School of Social Service Administration.
