Event description

Description

9:01pm is a poetic and absurd comedy, mostly based on physical comedy and mime. It's a young lady's birthday and every year, her life-long Doctor, who is a father figure to her, comes to celebrate. He always brings a cake, which she always gets insanely obsessed about, trying to jump on and devour it every time.

9:01pm is a contemporary satirical comedy with lots of heart, which deals with relationships and obsessions.

About The Artists

Carole Sauer is a versatile French actress, writer and director based in Dublin and is mostly focused on physical movement. Raised in a very artistic environment, she has been exposed to dancing, music and acting from very early on. Now, she mostly performs pantomime and dancing to music. At the age of 13 yrs she was mesmerised by watching Modern Times by Charlie Chaplin and the combination of emotion, rhythm, music and movement inspired her. Life passed by, taking other paths with music and travelling the world, but when she started taking acting classes, this passion for movement and rhythm came back. An original self-taught artist, Carole Sauer has now created her own show, 9:01pm.

Frank Allen is a well-known Dublin actor, playwright and director and is the screenwriter of the film Twelve Days in May.

Cast: Carole Sauer, Frank Allen
