A Christmas event for the whole community at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Amherst, this year is a Sunday evening Advent service, filled with beautiful Advent and Christian Christmas music. This is a wonderful way to quiet your heart and hear the story of God’s love in sending His Son, as our Savior.

Oberlin Music Conservatory students will sing and play instruments.

The sanctuary of St. Paul will be set in candle lighting and Christmas décor.The Nine Lessons are Scripture readings that tell the story of our God’s loving plan to save us, His people.

The carols and anthems, by choir, instrumentalists, and some sung by congregation, each amplify the meaning of the Scripture readings.
