Join us for our NC Dental Opioid Update Course which will fulfill the requirements established by the NC State Board of Dental Examiners for 2022 license renewal.

Schedule:

6:30 PM - 8:00 PM - Course (via ZOOM online conferencing)

8:00 PM - Course ends, attendees receive email link to take post-event test. Upon completion of test, attendees will receive certificate of completion via email within two weeks.

Receive 1.5 CE Credits

(Note: If you do not have a DEA license you may take the course, but it is not required for license renewal).

This course will be specific to our dental practices as an update focusing on new and relevant changes to opioid prescribing, while entertaining clinical questions that we face as practitioners.

REQUIRED COURSE DETAILS

As you know, 2017 was the first year the N.C. General Assembly required dentists seeking dental license renewal in North Carolina to take at least a one-hour course on opioid prescription writing pursuant to House Bill 97.

Since House Bill 97 is a general statute in the N. C. Law, dentists are required to take a course on opioid prescription writing each year until further notice.
