Description
Join us for this year’s Youth Field Day & Expo! Our goal is to excite students about agriculture and science, reveal future opportunities in those fields, and foster a love of learning which will promote agriculture and good stewardship in this and future generations.
Each June we host a field day, specifically structure for students ages 8 – 18. At this year's Youth Field Day, students will find we have returned to our class structure which will allow students to focus their time at each of 6 stations. The event, held at the Range Cattle REC, 3401 Experiment Station, Ona, FL, from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. for students, parents, and other adults. Various community & industry booths will be available to visit from 12:15 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. These booths will be informative and educational with demonstrations, visuals, hands-on activities, and experts who are ready to share their knowledge with inquisitive minds who want to know more.
Students will travel in set groups on a rotation schedule to each of 6 educational stations, with one involving a pasture tour.

Registration will include admittance to the event and all activities, field day booklet, and lunch. Please register here on Eventbrite. During early registration, and paying by credit or debit card, you will have an option to purchase a Youth Field Day T-shirt. After you select the quantity of tickets and click "Register" you can scroll to the bottom of that page to see the "Additional Items" and click "T-Shirt" below that to access the t-shirt order form. To order more than one size, reclick on the shirt option. To see a summary of your order, scroll to the top of the page. If you are paying by check, e-mail your t-shirt order to dunlap73@ufl.edu. T-shirts will be available for preorder during “Early Bird” registration from April 20 – June 4. If you miss this limited time offer, a small quantity of shirts will be available for purchase the day of the event. This year t-shirts will be gray with orange & white text.

Directions
From Ona -
From SR 64 in Ona, turn south at the caution light onto CR 663. Travel 5 miles on 663 and turn right onto Goose Pond Road. *Travel 1.5 miles and turn left onto Experiment Station Road. Travel about a mile to reach the Range Cattle REC facilities.
From Arcadia -
Travel west on SR 70 about 1.5 miles to CR 661. Take a right on CR 661 and travel about 12 miles to Goose Pond Road. Take a left on Goose Pond Road (see Ona instructions at *).
From Bradenton -
From the junction of interstate 75 and SR 64 travel east to Ona and follow those directions above.
