Held during Hispanic Heritage Month, the Symposium includes discussions on the importance of the U.S. Hispanic Community’s contributions to the global economy, and the importance of trade for our hemisphere’s diplomatic relations and global competitiveness.

Panel 1: The United States and Paraguay

CHLI Chairman, the honorable Lincoln Diaz-Balart, leads a conversation with representatives from Paraguay regarding the relationship between the two countries. The Speakers will also discuss current issues and concerns regarding cybersecurity in Paraguay and the Western Hemisphere.

Panel 2: Impacting the World Through Media and Film

Conversation with Senior Vice Presidents from the Motion Picture Association of America, Viacom, and the USTR, to talk about how the film industry is a major exporter of money and freedom of expression in America.
